  • Students and teachers from Hampstead Hill Academy and The Stadium School attended World Food Day at the United Nations in New York City. We were invited by The Growing Connection, our partner and a subset of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Funding was made possible by a grant the Food Studies Institute received from the Center for a Livable Future, Johns Hopkins University.
• KIDS Being Healthy Expo at the Baltimore Convention Center, May 2007   HHA students were stars at this conference dancing on stage with Richard Simmons, demonstrating their culinary skills along side of Food Network TV celebrities, and having a photo shoot with the Watermelon Queens.
