HHA & Food for Life Community DinnersThe Hampstead Hill Academy Culinary Arts Club Cordially invites you to "A Taste of Baltimore" Community Dinner & Thank You to our Collaborators.

Enjoy a variety of appetizers and special Baltimore and Food for Life treats prepared by HHA students and local restaurants including Atwater’s Bakery, The Brewer’s Art, Woodberry Kitchen, Dogwood Deli, Fells Point Carry Out, and more… Featuring musical performances by the HHA Chorus!

Community Tutoring

Free Tutoring Available
Terrific, local and free tutoring available There is free weekly tutoring available at Abbott Church on Highland Avenue. A light meal is provided, and super tutors work with students for about an hour to improve reading and math skills. Limited spaces are available. Please contact Ms. Pincus, Director of Community Outreach, for information.

The Kiwanis Club of East Baltimore

Make the Neighborhood a better place for children – JOIN THE KIWANIS CLUB
The Kiwanis Club of East Baltimore has served the Southeast Baltimore community for almost 60 years. They have a generous and long-standing relationship with Hampstead Hill – sponsoring our playground and our bi-annual Terrific Kids program. The club is seeking new members. Their main focus is to serve children in the neighborhood. Any parent or family member – especially those of Terrific Kids – is invited to attend a meeting to see what the club is about. Meetings are Tuesdays at 12:15 p.m. at the Abbott Memorial Presbyterian Church located at Highland Avenue and Bank Street. See Mr. Hornbeck for more information.

ESOL Workshops & Classes

Registration - The Greater Homewood Community Corporation is now offering their beginning Adult ESOL (English as a Second or Other Language) Classes free of charge and begin the week of January 14th.

Computer Classes

Thursday Evenings
Free five week computer course every Thursday, starting on December 6th. The class will focus on these components: Computer Basics, MS Office, the Internet, Safety & Research, Email, Blogs & Wikis and Class Presentations.
